Attention all you Caribbean and International Invited Players: The 1st Palo Viejo - Puerto Rico 9 Ball Classic will now be a qualifier for the upcoming 8th Annual Predator International 10-Ball Championships to be held at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas! Sponsors for the Puerto Rico event include Simonis Cloth, Aramith/Saluc Balls, Poison Cues, and Palo-Viejo, whom have held 14 Annual-National 8-Ball and 9-Ball Tournaments for the benefit of amateur players in Puerto Rico. Six spots will be distributed among the 12-16 finalists of the 1st Palo Viejo - Puerto Rico Classic to be held April 18-20 at the Criollo Sports Bar and Restaurant in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Players from Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, Dominican Republic, St. Kitts & Nevis, Jamaica, Guyana, Peru, Guadeloupe, Dominica, U.S. Virgin Islands, French St. Maartin, and Trinidad & Tobago have been invited to participate in this first 2008 Caribbean-International Event under the New Billiards Group called the Caribbean Billiards Union, presided by Harold Acosta, President of the Puerto Rican Billiard Federation.
