The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour was in Galesburg, IL this week, where 65 Players turned out to compete for over $4,000, including Shawn Putnam, Jon Kucharo, and the man who coached Putnam, Jackie Palmer.
Billiards On Main was the host site for the tour stop and arriving in the finals were Jamie Baraks, making his way through the one loss side, and Putnam, who'd taken the point on the winner's side. At 5-5, Baraks missed a ball and Shawn pulled away 7-5 for the win.
