Billiard Expo in China

The 3rd International Billiards Exhibition, GBE 2009, will take place in Guangzhou, China March 10-12, 2009. International Manager Eva Deng says that the Exhibition is "The largest and most famous billiard Exhibition in Asia." The show will take place at the China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex. The Billiard Exhibition is slated to be "the main section of the 6th China (Guangzhou) International Leisure Expo," commonly referred to as GILE2009.

Manufacturers and exporters will display their goods at the home recreation expo, with an emphasis on billiards. "This is the premier platform for businesses to find supplies in Asia and to tap into the market of Asia," Deng said. "In the last twenty years billiards has become one of the most popular sports in China and is growing rapidly. Billiards is getting excellent exposure, with more and more international tournaments being held in China, such as the China Open and the Shanghai Masters Snooker Tournament, by the impact on sports by the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 2010 Guangzhou Asia Games and Shanghai World Expo."

During the GBE2009 exhibition, the organizing committee will hold activities to attract professionals, such as the China Billiards Industry Development Forum, The Second China Billiard Club Operation, Management Seminar and more. About 200 domestic and international exhibitors and brands from billiards and the home amusement industry were attracted to GBE2008.
