Billiard Congress of America Inks Deal with Coca-Cola

Efren Reyes is 2010 Predator Int'l 10-Ball Champion!

Efren Reyes is now the official Champion of the 10th Annual Predator International Championship.  Young gun Gomez took over the match early leading 5-1 and later 7-4, but could not keep Reyes from the title.

Predator International 10-Ball: Thursday Updates

Manila, Philippines –  Efren Reyes will be having a longer haul to make it to the finals as Ronnie Alcano detoured him to the loser's side in the double elimination format. The former World Champion Reyes started off strong in the match with a 2-0 lead, but then saw it dwindle as Reyes made several unforced errors.

Predator International Championships See Giants Topple Early!

Manila, Philippines –  Reigning World 9-Ball Champion Francisco "Django" Bustamante (pictured) fell to fellow top Filipino Roberto "Superman" Gomez 8-5 tonight. In a field full of both Filipino and foreign international talent, Bustamante knew this was not going to be an easy tournament to win. The Predator International Championship is taking place now at SM Mall North Edsa September 15-18, 2010 all this week.

BCAPL 9-Ball in Conjunction with US Open 9-Ball Championships

An amateur 9-Ball tournament will be held this fall concurrently with the famed U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship. China Wins World Cup of Pool!

CHINA, represented by Fu Jianbo and Li Hewen (pictured), won their second PartyPoker.net World Cup of Pool crown as they dismantled the Philippines by a 10-5 scoreline and silenced a huge home crowd at the Robinsons Place Mall in Manila. It was the second time that the deadly Chinese duo have now lifted this prestigious crown – they beat Finland in a hill-hill thriller in Rotterdam in 2007 – and they never let up from the opening rack as the home team felt the pressure and never really got going.

Field Narrows at World Cup of Pool

Day 3 and it was Holland – Niels Feijen and Huidji See – who negotiated a potentially tricky match up with Austria, represented by Jasmin Ouschan and 17 year-old Mario He, to run out 8-3 winners. “I was a little nervous but Huidji played well and we both broke well,” said Feijen. “We have to step up our game but we’re playing good and have got a lot of potential. This was Huidji’s first ever match on television and he handled it very well. We just have to play solid, we’re breaking good and I like that and if you we get more relaxed we could go on a run.”

Another action-packed day of pool at Robinsons Place, Manila, the 2010 PartyPoker.netWorld Cup of Pool reconvened at midday Wednesday and it was England and France who made their way through to the next round in a couple of low-calibre matches.

England looked on the brink of defeat as they finally laboured to victory, 8-7 over minnows Qatar. Sporting World Champions, Daryl Peach and Karl Boyes never looked comfortable at any stage as they struggled to settle and find a rhythm.
